Our History:
Express Coat Corp was established in 1967 and in 1989 became the first Autophoretic® 800 series job shop in the country. ECC is currently the leading Autophoretic® 800 series coating facility in the state of Michigan for many reasons.

Our Location:
Our strategic location in Warren off I-696 and Groesbeck Hwy makes us centrally located in the heart of Detroit’s automotive and manufacturing industries and also within minutes of Canada.

Our Facility:
Our 67,000 sq. ft. facility, with two, conveyor-driven lines allows us to provide 24 hour “turn-around” time and give our customers the flexibility that is required in today’s fast-paced, automotive industry.

Our Capacity:
ECC is experienced at all levels of manufacturing as a North American supplier that currently provides service to Ford, GM, and Daimler-Chrysler at various Tier 1,2, & 3 levels of the automotive industry.

Our Services:
ECC provides many ‘value-added’ services such as on-site quality containment inspection and full EDI capabilities so our customers are able to direct-ship to the assembly lines saving time and transportation costs.

With our own in-house design, engineer, and build team, we are able to fabricate our own process and tooling equipment; now having completed four operating Autophoretic® lines. This “hands-on” capability makes Express Coat stand above our competition in Autophoretic® 800 process development and in providing innovative and unique solutions to masking problems and other tooling requirements.
